Perfect Edge™

Perfect Edge™ was developed in-house by MCS and uses inert gas plasma to remove material without mechanical interaction resulting in a deformation-free micro-section allowing unambiguous analysis (click here for an application report). 

Perfect Edge™ combined with SEM and EDS analysis allows direct comparison of material type, condition and characteristics that can be masked by conventional micro-section preparation processes. 

Perfect Edge™ produces exceptional outcomes:
