What do MCS do?

We offer root-cause failure analysis and product development support using materials science. Work in many sectors including electronics, aerospace, defence, oil & gas, medical, automotive supporting customers to understand the cause of failures (or identify product improvements) and implement appropriate solutions.

Micro-sectioning is essential to allow to understanding material microstructure and unlocking key diagnostic data from samples. MCS have been using Zeiss SEMs since 1999 and continue to invest heavily in new scopes (recent purchases, Axio vision light microscope and Gemini 450 FE-SEM).
